Abstract:The equipment of primary and secondary cooling systems are rather highly required in the high-speed billet caster production. Once the strand is not properly cooled even in slight deviation, it can cause such problems as off-tracking and off-squareness of strand, and would impair the caster running and strand quality. This paper introduced the method of improving precision of the primary and secondary cooling systems of billet caster and analyzed the concerned design concepts for reference.
