Abstract:This paper introduces the background, architecture design, business rules and implementation methods of quality monitoring and management system for continuous casting slabs. The application of this system can realize real-time monitoring and information transmission of nonstationary slabs such as the head and the tail slab in the casting, etc. The billets with defect got be offline in time, improving the efficiency of hot?delivery?and?hot?charg of slabs and reducing the quality loss caused by defective slabs.
