Abstract Hot rolled ribbon steel for 65Mn at Lai Steel is a newly developed steel type which used in material of saw, and in this paper, the quality problems of center porosity, crack .break out endogenous inclusions and high in rigidity etc, which are formed in continuous casting process were analyzed，consider that the facter is exist in high degree of superhea, raw material and technecs unsuitable controlling.,conditions are adjusted in.raw material and rafractory of ladle,end point control are modified,technecs of refine and casting steel improved, at last the quality defects are under control step by step, and satisfy the production demand.
