| Application of long life technology about small billet sizing tundish |

Abstract The average working life reached 45 hours about small billet sizing tundish in LaiWu Iron?and?Steel?Group company， but the lifetime was lower. The reasons of low service life were analyzed about the small billet sizing tundish. Through the design application of high-performance sizing nozzle on zirconium core， sizing nozzle and the quick change slider retrofit design， sizing nozzle quick package in the installation technology， offline triple flame baking stripping process and online fast tundish oxygen-rich baking technology measures etc， the service life of the small billet sizing package was increased， and long period continuous sizing package steady-state casting was realized， and single package average cycle was 70 h， so production cost was reduced， and the recovery rate of molten steel was improved， and the stable production along the line was guaranteed.
