Analysis and improvement of punching crack of Q195LB wire |
|
|
Abstract For the problem of punching and cracking of Q195LB wire, the defective sample, finished steel wire and corresponding wire rod were retrieved for macro analysis, metallographic detection, electron microscopy energy spectrum detection and analysis, and the process test was carried out. The results show that the reason for the punching cracking is that the subsurface bubbles in the first casting billet are severe, and the surface cracks are formed by rolling and left on the wire rod, and the cracking is extended in the subsequent cold heading and punching operation.By optimizing the continuous casting process to protect the casting process, improve the masonry and baking requirements of the tundish, and strengthen the grading control of the head billet, the cracking problem caused by the subsurface bubbles is effectively solved.
