Analysis and Prevention Control on the Crack of Hot-rolled H Section Steels Flange and Web

Abstract ��For the issue of crack defects about the flange and web of hot rolled H section steels produced in Laiwu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., defective steel samples were studied by the methods such as metallography, inclusion, scanning electron microscopy , etc. Causes which leaded to the defects were identified. On this basis, prevention and control measures were made from smelting and rolling processes, the repetition of such defects was avoided.
