Abstract��In accordance with the crack on the edge of low alloy high strength plate Q345E, we carried out some researches by chemical analysis, performance test, spectrogram , hardness test and so on. As a result, part of the plate was overcooling and formed martensite, then cracked on the edge of plate forced by cold leveler.
