Abstract��The new standard GB/T 24171-2009 for FLC determination is divided into two parts, par 1 GB/T 24171.1-2009 and part 2 GB/T 24171.2-2009. the contents of part 1 are almost same with the conventional FLC determination method, which can be applied by most of the forming laboratories, part 2 introduces a more accurate FLC determination method, which can only be applied by a few forming laboratories for the moment. In this paper, the specimen, test devices, test conditions and strain analysis in part 2 are researched based on experiments, some advices are also brought out for the application of the new standard.
