Crystallization Kinetics of ����Fe Phase in Fe85.9Nb0.25Nd7.5B5.5Dy0.75 Cu0.1 Amorphous Alloy

Abstract��The crystallization kinetics of ����Fe phase in the Fe85.9Nb0.25 Nd7.5B5.5 Dy0.75Cu0.1 amorphous alloy was studied by diferential scanning calorimetry(DSC). The results show that when the amorphous alloy is heated at a rate of 10 ��/min, the beginning and ending temperature of crystallization for ����Fe phase is 521��43 �� and 612��14 ��, respectively, and the time of crystallization is 9.07 min. The crystallization activation energy and Avrami exponent n of ����Fe decrease with increasing in crystallized volume fraction.
