Abstract��Using the NACE standard bent��beam test, the behavior of sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) of different microstructures for X70 grade pipeline steel was investigated. The result showed that the microstructure dominated by fine and homogeneous acicular ferrite had the better resistance to SSCC. Both the high density tangled dislocation and carbonitride precipitated along with dislocation networks inducing acicular ferrite had the better resistance to SSCC.
