Characteristics of Frequency Spectra for Model in Hot Blast Pipeline��at Condition both of Resonance and of Extreme Resonance

Abstract��Based on the model of hot blast pipeline for blast, a hydraulic model of venturi tube pipeline with many 90 degree bends and ratio of 1:120 was established. The characteristics of frequency and power spectra in the pipeline at the condition of resonance and extreme resonance with different entrance velocities were studied. The results showed that the value of the power spectra in main frequency at the condition of the extreme resonance was several thousand times compared to the value at the early stage of resonance, and about ten thousand times compared to the energy when no vibration. Moreover, the amplitude both of the resonance and of the extreme resonance, as well as the velocity of flow are followed the exponential function relationship. The resonance of main frequency under the energy levels transition could be controlled and utilized. The extreme resonance, however, would produced mortal destroy to the industry pipeline when the energy levels transition arises. The intense change of internal structure of the fluid vortex in the exciting zone was observed by the CCD system. The flow showed that the turbulent flow was intensified with increasing in the entrance velocity of the flow. The periodic generation and shedding of the periodic vortex in intensive turbulent flow was the main factor that induced the resonance into the extreme resonance.��
