Abstract��This paper researches the fracture of 22SiMn2 continuous casting slab. The result shows: the part of fracture slab is abound of columnar crystals. There are many gas porosities and cracking and inclusions in crystal grain boundaries, which make the crystal grain boundaries to become the weakness. The circumstance of slabs is poor. The slab��s temperature is changed frequently, which leads the internal stress focus on the crystal grain boundaries of slab. The crackles are enlarged along the inclusions whose ductility is poor, and it leads to the fracture of slab. The low degree of superheat can resolve the fracture of 22SiMn2 slab.
