Abstract��A method of investigating how refractive index of transparent liquid varied with temperature by using Michelson Interferometer was proposed. And the monotonic curve of refractive index of water (an example of transparent liquid) versus temperature (from 18 �� to 50 ��) was obtained. The process was operated easily and with accuracy. A wide measurement range of temperature was achieved. So it can be used for studying various kind of transparent liquid conveniently. Moreover, the change of the refractive index with temperature can be lively reflected by emerging and diminishing of the interference ring.��
