Abstract��The normal metallographic corroding method is straightforward and rapid for observation of material��s microstructure. However, in most cases, it is only able to show grain boundary and phase boundary.Meanwhile it is difficult to differentiate the microstructure with more than two phases. The normal metallographic corroding method can not meet the requirements, especially for the low carbon bainite dual phase steel. The identificaton steel using color metallography technique and EBSD is rarely reported.An attempt and explorations on the quantitative analysis of the phases are made in this article.A series of achievement and progress are obtained.
