AbstractBy taking the hotrolled strip coiled as main example, the temperature fields and transformation have been modeled by MARC FEM software. Temperature behavior and phase distribution at different time of cooling after coiling were calculated. The results show that, for the temperature behavior, the slowest location of cooling speed is in the intermediate region between the center region and the inner surface region, which is situated at about 1/3 of the total thickness of coil layers apart from the inner wall, and the maximum temperature difference happens at 9th hours, which is 314 .During the cooling, the transformation from ferrite has been stopped, its contents is 82.27%83.026%. The retained austenite are continue to transform into pearlite and bainite, its contents is 16.45%~17.73% and 0.524%~0.546% respectively. Martensite just appears on the edge of the coil.
