Abstract��The surface defect of stainless steel knives are analyzed.Microscope was applied to observe the morpho��logy and distribution of the inclusion.Scanning electronic microscope was employed to observe the microstructure,and energy spectrum was utilized to determine the composition. The source of the surface defect was found out, the mechanism was described. The suggestion for improving product quality was brought forward.
