Development of Measuring Transformation Temperature by Thermal Analysis Method

Abstract��Based on the principle of releasing considerable latent heat for phase transformation during the continuous cooling, a novel method for determination of transformation temperature with thermal analysis was developed. The principle of thermal analysis method and the procedure were introduced in detail. At the same time, the deformation temperature of pipe line X80 steel and Q235 steel were determined. The results show that this method is simple to manipulation.It is suitable for determination of transformation temperatures both of bainite and martensite during accelerated cooling large sample with high reduction.
