Abstract��The stacking fault of a inclusion in a steel was analysed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It was analysed by select area diffraction patterns (SADPs)that there exist period stacking (LPS) structure with 15R-type in the inclusion.Severl representative SADPs along close packing range of points were obtained by double tilt operation. The structure of the inclusion is face-centered cubic.The lattice constant of the inclusion is 0.788nm. One dimension systematic reflexions lattice images and HREM formed by [011]��zone axis were observed.
