Abstract��The SiCaBa wire was fed into 28Cr2Mo steel after RH in order to find out its effect on inclusion modification and mechanical properties. The experimental findings show that styles of inclusions were modified from MnS to complex inclusions including Ca/Mg/Zr, and the sizes of inclusions were small, and the appearances distributed from a long stripe way to a uniform and dispersed way. The impact toughness in latitude was increased greatly, and the anisotropy was improved.
