Abstract��Two different kinds of control system(PID control and minimum beat control) of walking reheat furnace were simulated by Matlab simulation software and Simulink toolbox. The automotive control program of walking reheat furnace in case of disturbance was studied. The results show that the automotive control system of the furnace could be stable at the shortest time with the excellent results when a minimum beat control was added.
