Abstract ��The cold��rolled 15 steel annealed under high pressure took place recrystallization in the experiment. The microstructures of the samples were observed and analyzed by TEM. The recrystal grain sizes were measured by intercept method. The results show that the recrystal grains of the samples annealed at 600 �� for 30 min at 3 GPa and 4.5 GPa are much finer than those annealed at ambient pressure. The recrystal grains become finer with the pressure increasing. The mechanism of the recrystallization under high pressure is primarily discussed.��
