Abstract��A method of investigating how refractive index of KTP crystal varied with temperature by using optical parametric oscillator was proposed. And we obtain the temperature derivative of the KTP. The process can be operated easily and with high precision, and wide measure range of temperature was achieved. Moreover, it can be used for studying various kind of crystal conveniently. The change of the refractive index with temperature may help us to investigate the crystal and the phase matching of it.
