Abstract��Plate and strip products are the backbones of the steel industry. Shape control is a key technology for strip mill and skin rolling is an important method to improve strip quality. Shape control of skin mill affects finished metal plate and strip shape quality directly. Using the established theoretical model, the flatness-adjusting efficacy of DSR has been studied. For various widths, the flatness-adjusting efficacy curve of bending force and each briquetting forces are calculated. This provides a theoretical basis for the online control and set of DSR technology.
