Abstract��To select material reasonably, the geometric model of air condition��s partition was extracted and mended by 3D model building software, UG. Using the mended model, the partition��s deforming was analyzed by the finite element simulating software, DYNAFORM. According to the simulating analysis, the suitable material for the partition��s deforming is the DX53D. The commercial test result indicates that the DX53D material is entirely able to meet the requirements of partition��s commercial process, and both its forming property and cost-effective property are higher, and the finite element simulating is an effective method for the air condition part��s material-selecting.
