Ultrasonic C-Scanning Analysis of Railway Wheel Flaws

Abstract��Railway transportation has become essential basic industry for economic development of many countries in the world. As key component on trains, wheel quality has direct connection with train security. Using technology of ultrasonic C-scanning image with immersion focusing method to test wheels from wheel rim, this paper makes special analysis for C-scanning flaw image for interior flaws of railway wheels, and offers foundation for wheel nondestructive testing evaluation.
