Abstract��As an advanced new welding technology, the technology of linear friction welding possesses many advantages, e.g. low welding temperature, high welding quality, and zero pollution in welding process. Hence it has become one of the most economic and common used technologies. In this study significant effects of welding time on the materials�� impact properties were found and the most suitable welding parameters were obtained. The welding time was 12s when welding frequency was 20Hz; the amplitude was 4mm, and pressure was 7 scale values. Under this condition the materials had relatively good impact properties, and the values are stable. This work provided reference for the future welding on engine blades.
