Abstract��Empirical electron theory of solids and molecules was used to build up valence electron structure models of unit cell on Fe-Mn, Fe-C-Mn etc. by discussing TWIP steel-30Mn25Cr10Ni2MoNbRe which suits for expandable tubular applications. The results show that in the course of replacing Fe by alloy element Me, solid solution causes a great redistribution of valence electron structure of bond network, which strengths bond network in ��-Fe and thus resists decomposition and reconstruction. The content of Me has an influence on strength of bonds between layers, which avoids slipping in slip surfaces of TWIP steel and it is good for twinning induced plasticity mechanism.
