Abstract��It was found that the elongation rate after fracture of DC01 strip was unqualified. The production process of the DC01 cold rolling strip was introduced. The defective samples were analyzed by analyzing chemical composition, inclusion and microstructure. The results showed that the main reason of failure was that too much cementite existed in the microstructure and distributed as catenulate and aggregtated. The inclusion in the steel also caused unqualified elongation rate after fracture. Some improvement measures were proposed.
