Abstract��The advantages of fiber bragg grating sensor in on-line monitoring of blast furnace stave are analyzed based on the fundamental of the thermal state experiment for blast furnace stave using fiber bragg grating sensor. The main error source of thermal state experiment for blast furnace stave using fiber bragg grating sensor is analyzed. The systematic error can be reduced by choosing the experimental material and installing the experimental facility through the system error analysis. After analyzing the experimental data, the relationship between the temperature and thermal stress of the stave and the wavelength from the fiber bragg grating sensor is obtained. In order to determine the reliability of the data and provide basis for accuracy judgment of the experiment, the error and uncertainty of the experimental data are studied.
