AbstractBased on research of T91,T92 and other high chromium ferritic heat-resistanting steel, the alloy composition of the 10%Cr-W ferritic heat-resistant steel has been optimized by decreasing carbon content, increasing chromium content and introducing cobalt component. The pipe was made up by melting, forging and hot forming. Furthermore, the best 10%Cr-W ferritic heat-resistant steel heat treament process was confirmed by the discussion on the heat treament process. The optimized austenitizing temperature is 1 100-1 150 and tempering temperature is 750-780 . The microstructure is comprised of -ferrite and tempered martensite, the area fraction of -ferrite is 6%. The performance test results show that strength of 10%Cr-W ferritic heat-resistant steel in normal and high temperature is higher than that of the T91 steel.
