Abstract��In order to verify the overall performance of impact tester made in China�� the European-standard and American-standard Charpy V-notch samples as well as home-made arc sample were selected for the impact test. The instrumented impact comparison tests were conducted using two impact testers with double-column simple beam structure and C-type pendulum. The force in impact test detected by dynamic sensor was real-time displayed in computer with displacement in the form of curve. The impact absorption energy was obtained by integral operation and compared with the standard energy value. The results fully proved that the home-made impact tester exhibited stable performance�� and it could be applied to the impact test of samples with different standards.
