Abstract��The analysis of macro morphology�� micro morphology and chemical composition were carried out on the fractured bolt. The analysis showed that all of chemical elements were accord with the standard requirements except mass fraction of carbon. The main reason for the head of the bolt cracked was the inexact calculation of formed amount. So the metal streamline?disorders and fracture?caused the failure on the head.
