Abstract��According to a casting plan of 27Mn2 round billet�� the quantity and composition of nonmetallic inclusions in molten steel in tundish for continuous casting from different positions and batches were analyzed by scanning electron microscope. The analysis results revealed that the strict control of each step in converter-refining-continuous casting process was the important premise of clean steel production. In addition�� the technological requirements for the smelting of various steels were different. Therefore�� the corresponding process control measures should be developed.
