Abstract��?The drawing?brittle fracture problems of SWRH82B?wire rod were studied��?the main reason?for the problem was the inclusions.?The maximum size of the inclusion observed by Zeiss?scanning electron microscope?was?230.5 ��m��?the composition of the inclusion were analyzed by energy spectrum?analyzer. The results show that the?inclusions?are mainly brittle inclusion which are compounded by A12O3��?CaO?and SiO��?derive from endogenous inclusion and exogenous inclusion. Through?the proper control of Ca?and S ratio��?Ca?and Al?ratio��?and the?content?of oxygen?in the molten steel?and?slag basicity��?the?inclusion properties and size improve��?and the influences of the?inclusions on SWRH82B reduce to the minimum.
