AbstractThe amorphous alloys had long range disordered structure and they were solid-state alloy without presence of crystal grain and grain boundary. The amorphous alloys exhibited excellent properties such as high strength low Youngs modulus and good soft magnetic properties. The previous studies indicated that the micro zone mechanical properties of amorphous alloy were nonuniform. In this study the structure of alloy was identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The distribution of local potential in surface micro zone of amorphous alloys was examined by potential probe. The microscopic nonuniformity of amorphous alloy in electrical properties was investigated.
