Comparison between new and old versions of the national standards for metal tensile creep and stress rupture tests

Abstract��The differences between the new and old versions of the national standards for metal tensile creep and stress rupture tests were compared and analyzed from the variations of the technical contents and requirements such as the standard name�� reference standard scope�� term and definition�� symbols and description�� test principle�� testing equipment�� environment temperature of test machine�� heating apparatus�� specimen�� measurement of original cross section of specimen�� test procedure and test results. The modified contents in new version were analyzed and discussed�� and some opinions for the next revision of this standard were proposed.
