Abstract��The aging heat treatments were performed for the annealed 441 stainless steel under different temperatures and different time. The mechanical properties and microstructure were analyzed after the different aging heat treatments. The results showed that the tensile strength of 441 stainless steel increased and the plasticity index decreased after aging at 650-950 �棬 and the yield strength decreased after aging at the temperatures except 650 ��. The precipitated phases were explosively dispersed when the steel was aged at 750 ��. From 750 �� to 950 �棬 when the aging temperature increased�� the quantity of precipitations decreased ��the size increased obviously�� and the shape was gradually changed from an equiaxed shape to a stick shape.
