Abstract��The influences of the different heat treatment processes on the hardness and impact toughness of Cr12�� Cr12MoV and Cr12Mo1V1 were tested in the laboratory. The microstructure and eutectic carbide inhomogeneity were analyzed by microscope. The experiment results showed that the best quenching temperature of Cr12��Cr12MoV and Cr12Mo1V1 was 920-960 �棬 980-1 020 �� and 1 020-1 060 �棬 respectively. After tempering at the low temperature the hardness was 62.5-63 HRC and the longitudinal impact energy was 15 J�� 30 J and 40 J��respectively. It proved that Cr12�� Cr12MoV and Cr12Mo1V1 had similar high hardness and high wear resistance.The impact toughness of Cr12Mo1V1 was the best��and the toughness of Cr12MoV was better than Cr12�� the carbide inhomogeneity of Cr12 was worse than Cr12MoV and Cr12Mo1V1.
