AbstractThe process parameters of double-jet electrolytic thinning process such as voltage electrolyte temperature and light penetration threshold were designed systemically according to the inflection point in the voltage-current density curve of DSM11 superalloy. The transmission electron microscope TEM and light microscope were chosen to evaluate the thin foils of the samples. Based on that the parameters for improving the DSM11 superalloy TEM sample were finally obtained. The influences of voltage electrolyte temperature and light penetration threshold variation on the foils quality were discussed. Additionally the film morphology and cause were analyzed on the condition of different quality TEM samples.
