Abstract��The tensile properties and microstructure of different specifications of HRB400 straight thread reinforcing hot rolled ribbed steel bar produced in Hanzhong iron and steel company were detected under the different natural aging and artificial aging condition. By studying the steel tensile performance data and the change of microstructure before and after aging�� it was confirmed that the artificial aging 200 �� by 1 h was very close to the natural aging test result�� which indicated that the artificial aging can replace the natural ageing test. Thus�� the aging time can be greatly shortened. The causes of the tensile properties change after aging were briefly analyzed�� which can provide a beneficial reference to the use and inspection of reinforcement.
