AbstractTC4 titanium alloys were electropolished in 5% perchloric acid ethanol solution and the corresponding electropolishing curves were obtained. With the increase of the electropolishing temperature the decomposition voltage at inflexion derived from the electropolishing curve decreased at first and then increased which reached its minimum at 20 . The effects of experimental parameters temperature voltage stir and polishing duration on the surface morphology of alloys had been studied via the field emission scanning electron microscopeFE-SEM. The results showed that the best experimental parameters were as follows polishing temperature of 20 棬 voltage of 28 V current density of 0.98 A/cm2 stir and polishing time of 25 s.
