Effect of the nitrogen content in low carbon medium-wide strip on the mechanical properties of steel

Abstract��For the three groups of 30 batch furnace of Q195 steel medium-wide strip samples with different nitrogen content obtained by the production test�� the nitrogen content in steel was determined by the spark emission spectrometer�� and the lowest nitrogen content of the samples was 52��10��6�� the highest was 136��10��6. According to the GB/T 228.1��2010 standard method�� the mechanical properties of the 30 batch of steel furnace samples were tested. The effect of the nitrogen content in steel on the mechanical properties of Q195 steel medium-wide strip was discovered by the unitary linear regression analysis of the testing data. And it was put forward that reducing the nitrogen content in steel was the important direction in improving the quality of Q195 steel medium-wide strip.
