Abstract��Taking martensitic stainless steel 2Cr13 and 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb as an example�� the internal quality�� surface quality and production efficiency of the steel forged with flat anvil and V-type anvil were compared respectively. And the production efficiency when forging steels with different plasticity were also compared�� the most suitable types of anvil when forging electroslag remelting round ingot and octagonal ingot was discussed�� which could provide the basis for choosing the right anvil for the subsequent production.
