AbstractThe sheet forming test machine and the grid strain automatic measurement and analysis system were used to carry out the forming limit test and performance analysis of the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. The results showed that the zinc layer had a worsening effect on the hot deformation of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet and the FLC of the galvanized steel sheet after dissolving the zinc coating should be reduced to 25% so as to ensure the enough safety margin. The strain hardening exponent[n]value in uniaxial tensile properties had a strong correlation with the forming properties. The higher the[n]value the higher the FLC the better the stamping forming performance of the sheet. Combined with the forming limit diagramthe strain area deformation mode and safety margin of galvanized steel in the actual stamping process were analyzed. It provided a reference for the research of the formability of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet.
