Abstract��Creep strength is one of the key mechanical properties of heat resistant steels and high-temperature alloys. It is usually obtained from longtime creep behavior�� which was properly extrapolated from the creep test of short time. The calculation process of the isothermal method and time-temperature parameter method�� which were commonly used in engineering for predicting the long time creep strength�� were introduced and analyzed. Trend line�� regression and single goal seeking commands of excel were used to fit and solve the extrapolation formulas and extrapolation calculation of the creep strength�� which provided a simple and practical approach to data processing and extrapolation software calculation process of creep test.
