Abstract��The difficulty in the production process of oil storage tanks in Atyrau petrochemical engineering�� which was the process of arc section production�� was introduced. Especially�� the design and manufacturing process of the convex-concave mold required for arc sections was elaborated. First�� the shape�� size and material of the template of the convex-concave mold were determined. Then�� the components of the convex-concave mold were confirmed. After that�� the uniform plates of the arc sections were pressed by using the convex-concave mold�� which were transported to the work field for splicing and welding. Finally�� the arc segments of the oil storage tanks were produced.
