Abstract:ABAQUS finite element simulation software was used to study the propagation and reflection of ultrasonic wave in metal workpieces with artificial reflector. The three-period sinusoidal signal with Hanning window modulation in time and Gaussian distribution in space was used as the load to increase the emission energy and axial resolution of the probe, so that the energy was effectively concentrated in the main acoustic beam and the influence of the side lobe was reduced. The simulation calculation and result analysis of block flat bottom (BFB) and typical artificial defects such as flat bottom hole (FBH), side drill hole (SDH) and V-groove indicated the feasibility of this method.
