| Fracture Failure Analysis of Spacer Under Down-Lead Wedge for Generator Rotor |

Abstract In this paper, fracture failure phenomena of spacer under down-lead wedge for generator rotors were summarized. A failure analysis was done in order to find out fracture causation. A conclusion was drawn that corrosive wear and fatigue were essential causations of failure of spacer under down-lead wedge for generator rotors.
