| High Temperature plasticity of 27SiMn Steel Billet |

Abstract The hot ductility of 27SiMn was measured by tensile tests on gleeble 3800. The relation between microstructure and plasticity was analysed. Brittleness reason of the steel in testing region was investigated.The test results indicate that the brittle zone is 600~850��from550~1200��,the percentage reduction of this area ��=23.0%~50.0% .The results will provide theory data for the production of 27SiMn steel billet.
