Intelligentization of Process Equipment Technology for JCOE Production Line

  • Discussed in this paper is the development of intelligentization of process equipment technology for JCOE longitudinal submerged arc welded(LSAW)pipe production line,focusing on the automatic measurement and intelligent closed-loop control technologies in each operation step. Based on in-depth discussions on the transformation from automation to intelligentization of the key processes such as automatic assembly of start and stop arc plates, pre-bending,JCO forming and expanding, the important role as played by intelligent transformation in improving welded pipe quality and production efficiency is revealed. The results show that the modern JCOE production line realizes full-process intelligent closed-loop control from raw materials to finished products by integrating advanced technologies such as machine vision,laser profile measurement,industrial Ethernet and MES(manufacturing execution system), which significantly improves the dimensional accuracy and consistency of mechanical properties of the product,and greatly enhances production efficiency. The intelligent closed-loop control creates conditions for centralized monitoring and unmanned operation,reducing or eliminating the influence of human factors.
